I have always been a fan of one-pieces. Maybe it’s a sign of immaturity, maybe I watched too many Three’s Company reruns as a child, but jumpsuits and rompers have always figured prominently into my wardrobe.
Apparently, I’m not the only one inspired by Chrissy Snow and the cast of Roller Boogie–stores are currently overflowing with one-piece shorties and hipsters everywhere are touting them as the must-have item for summer. Being the generous person that I am, I did some online reconnaissance for you:

1. Avignon 1981, Le Train Bleu 2. Seneca, Revolve Clothing

3. Kimchi & Blue, Urban Oufitters 4. Topshop

5. By Zoe, Pixie Market 5. Only Hearts, Shopbop
To make it less casual and cover up a bit (especially in heavily air conditioned environments), I recommend the following:

Scarf, Anthropologie; Sandals, Aldo; Cardigan, Shopbop
So, just what is the allure of wearing what basically amounts to an adult-sized onesie? Is it the ease of getting dressed? Is it the comfort factor? Is it the nostalgia?
