This year I jumped on the bandwagon and dressed up as Michael Jackson…Off the Wall-era Michael, complete with bow-tie and ‘fro. At one point, I was walking outside and guy on the other side of the street pointed straight at me and yelled “Off the Wall Michael Jackson!”
Between all the candy and cupcakes and cookies I consumed in a very short period of time and the thrill of doing the Thriller dance (people kept asking! And, um, I did practice…), I had a great Halloween!

Of course, I always have a great time on Halloween–really, an entire day that revolves around dressing up and getting free candy? Throw in some shoe shopping and I’m gold! Here I am last year as Prince (around 2:40):
Fountain Square costume contest
(I swear I didn’t know they were taping–if I had, I might have, um, conducted myself a bit differently. I just discovered this video on Saturday.)
Sadly enough, all of the above only serves as proof that what little sense I possess is seriously in peril.

LOL!!! Good job on the Prince booty shake. I laughed so loud this morning I scared the cat.
Holy crap! I just about died! That is HYSTERICAL!!!!! You look amazing – both last year and this year! You are clearly a Halloween GENIUS!
Best.MJ.EVER!!! This is great.
And that video is hilarious. People have eyes everywhere. LOL
Halloween is definitely your thing! Great costumes!
It’s so embarrassing! I kinda wish they hadn’t included that part, but…I’m kinda glad they did.
I should know better in this day and age, right?
didnt know i could <3 you more but well… there i go! lol-was there alcohol involved??? you could always blame it ; )
Wow, this is hilarious. It’s so great that it was all caught on camera.
You look really cute as Michael:) I was watching purple rain yesterday with my mom. You choose to dress like the musical geniuses, maybe next year you could be Stevie Wonder or Minnie Riperton!
Unfortunately, I can’t even blame it on the al-a-a-a-a alcohol. Just pure ham-osity.
I think I’ve been going through all my childhood crushes. If that proves to be true, LL Cool J is next on the list!
