Between hanging out with my family, acting as an all-you-can-eat buffet for mosquitoes, and perfecting my smoothie-making technique (I’m up to two per day. Seriously, it’s a problem), I spent most of the holiday weekend working on the new issue of Style Sample magazine. I spent all weekend in bed reading. Emerged on Monday to a trip to Hoodwill and more bed and reading. So exciting.
Me either. I did not even get to see fireworks. I really wanted to relax and just spend time with friends. I know maybe Labor Day for the both of us.
There will be fireworks Saturday at Miami Township’s 11th Annual MidSummer at the Meadows. Not only that, Eddie Money will be performing
$5 per car for parking, otherwise the event is free. So, Eddie Money, fireworks, rides, games, and I’m sure there will be funnel cake somewhere…lol…
