It’s hot out hurr

8 Comments 11 August 2010

Since the weather is back to 172% humidity and 97 degrees in the shade*, I had to take matters into my own hands…and wear short shorts.

Vintage blouse, belt, and necklaces; Forever21 shorts; Stetson hat; Ann Taylor bracelet; Charles David shoes

*That may not be completely accurate reporting. My bad.

  1. You look so cute in this! I have exactly one pair of short shorts, and I only feel comfortable wearing them with heels. At night. (I’m really pale, somehow night-time makes it seem better in my head.) But you totally rock this look any time of day!

Thanks, Mallory! I initially felt a bit wary about all the leggage, but grew to appreciate the exposure as the temperature rose!

completely loving this look, Tamia – especially the lace-up booties! In fact, I just bought a similar pair from Nordstroms!(Michael Kors ‘Tatum’ oxfords)

Thanks, Shannon! They’re actually quite comfortable–which means I can make it about 8 blocks before needing a break.

Well, I don’t see my initial comment…so I’ll try again.

Tamia…girl you rock this look to the fullest. I swear you never miss a beat with your style and taste. I mentioned before that I struggle with hooking up such fly unexpected looks…but I love ‘em nonetheless. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

    Stay Creative Darlin’…
