Birthday party skirt

I picked this skirt up at some Goodwill or another a few years ago, mostly because shiny polyester and the sound of crunching crinoline always does it for me. Ah, to be a child of the ’70s…

I call it the Birthday Party skirt because it is 100% the sort of thing I would have worn to a birthday party at Mickey D’s and gotten Ronald McDonald cake all over when I was little. Does anybody else remember those parties they used to let you have in the basement? Good times…
