In Search of: Sleek Flat Ankle Boots

Sometimes I have trouble finding exactly what I’m obsessing over looking for, but I know it exists! This time, I’m in search of flat ankle boots that are sleek, not rugged.

They need to:

  1. NOT look like something a cowboy/biker/member of a grunge band would wear on casual Friday.
  2. Have a bit of a heel or wedge so I’m not forced to walk like a duck. Completely flat flats make me walk weirdly.
  3. Adjust to properly fit my ankles. Otherwise, my chicken legs look like twigs growing out of a gaping hole when I wear skirts.
  4. Be, like, 1/8 of the price of these Chloe ankle boots.

Suggestions much appreciated!

I am having the exact same problem. I’ve been looking for a pair of flat (but not too flat) black ankle boots for years. Please let us know if you find a pair.

Found these on ozsale.com.au and thought of you. The wedge might be a bit high, but they are a sleek little number. Didn’t come in my size, unfortunately.
