Runway Copycat: Marc Jacobs

I tend to be veeeery impatient. This applies to pretty much all aspects of my life, and fashion is no exception. The stuff for fall from this past New York Fashion Week? Yeah, I want to wear it NOW.  If the look is simple enough--like this one from Marc Jacobs' show-- it's fairly easy to duplicate. So, without further ado: 1. Show Nuff: New York Fashion Week

The first of the Fashion Week(s) is drawing to a close, and as promised, I'll review some of my favorite looks from the New York collections.  A few things are patently obvious: 1. Current Obsession: Indian Bridal Jewelry

Fueled by a newfound desire for dramatic necklaces (I'm usually an earring gal) and a late-night viewing of Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love (it's not what you think), I am now obsessed with traditional Indian bridal jewelry. As a result, I've spent many hours Googling and ogling (is it a coincidence that those words are so similar?) Kundan jewelry, mangalsutra, tikka, jhoomar, and all sorts of beautiful things I want to drape myself in for no apparent...
