The combination of patterns and silhouettes from this clothing line is so appealing; I know my fellow party people know how this one goes; Wallpapering only a portion of the wall seems like a much better idea than trying to cover a whole friggin’ room;I can feel myself slipping into a vacation state of mind and there’s nothing I can do about it; The layers of color and chiffon on this dress are reminiscent of a tattered princess; The artistic version of string theory seems pretty legit.

The intricacy and detailing on this blouse is giving me LIFE; I’ve been seeing the ol’ chandelier-in-a-birdcage trick a lot lately, and I think it’s growing on me; While it’s important to distinguish “mine” and “yours” ice cream spoons, all of the actual ice cream is definitely mine; Sorry to break it to you, but this is what your old friend Teddy Ruxpin’s skull looks like; I love the unusual take on traditional design in this multi-setting ring; Anyone standing on this ornate, gilded balcony is required to flippantly suggest that people eat cake.

I don’t know where this oceanfront villa is, but I know I want to go to there; I love this photo, but my cat looks at me like I’m crazy when I try to pose like that; What’s not to love about a hipster muppet that looks like it stepped out of a Fiona Apple video?; Gold-tipped drusy quartz seems sophisticated and just mystical enough; Elephants and flamingos have unexpectedly become two of my favorite animals (I mean besides cats, of course); When it comes to style, sometimes more–turban, fur gilet, scarf dress, gold bag–is MORE.

Coogi art–yes, art made from old Coogi sweaters–seems like a good way to make the most of an, um, unfortunate situation; Mirrored walls always remind me of my childhood home; Lace ankle boots seem delicate and fierce at the same time; I’m slightly obsessed with the way perfume atomizers make even the messiest vanities (ahem, MINE) seem sophisticated; I love that this editorial recalls the days when Linda Evangelista’s ever-changing hair color was front page news; I know it’s extremely immature of me, but I REALLY want this umbrella.

Wearing a big knit bow around one’s neck isn’t usually a good idea, but there are always exceptions; The multi-level slide at the Margiela store in Beijing is one of my childhood dreams come true; I recently lost ALL of my keys (’cause I’m a genius like that) so this cloud key magnet would come in handy in the future; An airy room with a balcony in Barcelona seems like the perfect place to be right now; Of course, it also seems like a good time to dress like a frosty ballerina; I have to wonder what went down at the party this weary disco ball was at. Invite me next time?

Something about this Swedish sitting room feels beach-y and mod at the same time; I’m liking the idea of a short-short dress with a bright red blazer for New Year’s; Thumbs up for non-corny letterpress wedding invitations in one of my favorite color combinations; A Send A Salami sign is the perfect fodder for inappropriate-yet-clever banter; If I could fit things over my hair I’d wear headdresses ALL THE TIME; This literal interpretation of a software pirate (really, when was the last time you saw a floppy disk?) made me giggle.

I’ve had my eye on this asymmetric draped blouse for a while; A delicate type pattern makes this sweet little bowtie the perfect blend of masculine and feminine; After several unsuccessful DIY attempts, it’s time to graduate to a real flash diffuser; I tend to be pretty hard on bags–this big leather beauty looks like my next victim; I’m afraid I can no longer deny it: I want an iPad, please; My inner font fiend is leading me to this lovely, swash-heavy type. I’m in.

I wanted a canopy bed SO badly when I was little–this tree bed would’ve been right up my alley; QR codes seem to be everywhere these days, but I’ve never seen a QR code in 3-D;  ABT soloist Misty Copeland (she’s a favorite of PRINCE, y’all) has been an inspiration since I first read about her in Suede magazine years ago; This horse sculpture created from found driftwood is grotesquely lovely; I love that the details on these trousers remind me of a favorite art project; It’s officially boot season: the obsession continues with these Acne wedges.

Gotta love a beaded skull cap made for an actual skull; I need it to be summer so I can have one of these backyard movie-viewing shindigs; I’ve been spending way too much time browsing historical photos of Cincinnati via the treasure trove that is the US National Archives; I love the effect of a sheer shade covering a sparkly chandelier; Good abstract art always makes me feel crazy and calm at the same time; A studded clutch and statement necklace are the perfect way to dress up the ol’ jeans/tee/sweater combo.

I love the infusion of humor into something as traditional as a crystal chandelier; A shoe covered in chiffon and crystals is like an evening gown for your foot; Tried-and-true Hollywood glamor is just what I need right now; I know unicorns aren’t real, but I grew up adoring Rainbow Brite and She-Ra so throw me a bone; If I were President Of Everything (TM), this warning would be REQUIRED; I’m not usually into polka dots, but pretty much anything Madonna would’ve worn in the ’80s gets a pass.
