Despite an uncharacteristic disinterest in the recent Fashion Weeks, I managed to browse a few shows at style.com. I quickly noticed a trend: the color orange was EVERYWHERE, from the runways to the streets.

Unfortunately, the color orange makes me look like a sallow, bloated, er…ORANGE, so I won’t be partaking in this particular trend. Will you?

I finally had a chance to catch up on my Bloglovin’ reader (sort of), so I thought I’d share some of my favorite street style photos:

TOP ROW:

So, between stuffing my face with everything from crab rangoon to cotton candy at Taste of Cincinnati and cleaning like a crazy person last weekend–I mean, I was wiping down baseboards y’all–I picked up the new issue of A-Line magazine and had a read.

It includes my lifestyle feature with Leah from High Street, whom I have decided to officially adopt as my light-skinded big sister from another mister. Tiffany photographed her at the shop and at her home, and we all had a blast.

One of the best things about the interwebz is the rise of street style photos. Sure the world wide web has other semi-useful purposes, but when it comes to checking out what other people are wearing, it really starts to earn its keep.

These are a few of my current favorites. Clearly, I’m feeling the Parisian dandy/deconstructed stage costume look right now.

While perusing Elle.com, I came across a photo of a classic early summer look. The combination of an oxford shirt,  ripped white denim, and animal print sandals is the perfect example of easy modern style.
