Seven Day Itch

Forgive me interwebs, for I have slacked. It has been seven days since my last blog post.

This is what I’ve been doing:

  • Trying to get up early and run/walk (ralk?) for at least 20 minutes in the morning. I managed to make it happen four of the last six days, so…we’ll see.
  • Working on the next issue of Style Sample magazine. For some reason, putting it together doesn’t get easier.
  • Catching up on “The Young and the Restless.” Jack and Victor are secretly in love, I swear.
  • Derailing my transition to vegetarianism by eating at the meat-a-palooza known as Boi Na Braza. Two steps forward…
  • Unearthing clothes and shoes I forgot I even owned–just in time for summer!
  • Trying to find the nerve/time/patience to do a video blog.  Can anyone explain why my voice sounds so different outside of the confines of my (admittedly oversize) head?
  • A number of other things too goofy/stressful/boring to mention.

So…what did I miss?

Lol @ “ralk.” It’s too hot to be outside for more than five minutes here in GA. I’ve missed a few days of Y and R, need TIVO! Yep to see Jack going to help was interesting to say the least! You are too funny! I haven’t had meat (aside from fish) since January. I am trying to let the fish go, the milk and cheese (oh joy, lol)! Oversized head- whatever! You are joking right? Right! Love the look.

Ooh, you’re strong! I think I can get by without meat, but cheese? I’d be lost without it!

It feels good, right? I get up, head out, and I’m back in 30 minutes. Good luck with your ralk, too!

Thanks, Paige! I adore long skirts in the summer, especially–they help hide stubble when it’s not quite time to wax yet. Shhh…

I am in love with that skirt and the print! So perfect for the summer. I’m also coming off of a hiatus myself and trying to psyche to walk/run in the mornings. I even bought a book about running, which is just how sad it is that I’m procrastinating.

I swear I will never do a vlog- the horror of hearing my voice recorded is more than enough to scare me away! Having said that, you probably sound fine 🙂

    Beautiful outfit!

The thing is–that’s already what we sound like! We’re the only ones who aren’t used to it, the rest of the world has already heard.
