Birthday party skirt

I picked this skirt up at some Goodwill or another a few years ago, mostly because shiny polyester and the sound of crunching crinoline always does it for me. Ah, to be a child of the ’70s…

Thrifted skirt, BCBG sweater, UO tee, Sigerson Morrison boots, purse from a street vendor

I call it the Birthday Party skirt because it is 100% the sort of thing I would have worn to a birthday party at Mickey D’s and gotten Ronald McDonald cake all over when I was little. Does anybody else remember those parties they used to let you have in the basement? Good times…

hehe! YES to those Mickey D’s birthday parties where everyone got a happy meal. Those were the B-E-S-T.

    Love that skirt, too!
