The busy end-of-year social season is getting started, and stylish events are popping up all over the place. A few you should definitely check out:

CincyChic’s Champagne and Shoes, Friday September 12th, 6-9pm
Y’all know Dress for Success has long been one of my favorite nonprofits, so I was happy to join CincyChic’s DFS fundraiser and fashion show event–especially when they asked me to be a judge for their “Chicest Shoes of All” contest. Get your tickets at champagneshoes2014.eventbrite.com, and bring your A-game footwear ‘cause I WILL be judging you (and asking where you got those cute shoes).

Saks Contemporary Event, Saturday September 27th, 4-6pm
I can often be found dreamily wandering through Saks, longingly touching all manner of high end clothing and accessories and willing everything from Etro dresses to Chanel booties to magically transport themselves into my closet. Luckily, my unrequited love is (temporarily) satiated as part of the #saksstyle campaign, where I had the opportunity to be photographed in several looks from Saks’ contemporary department. One of those looks will be on display at the September 27th event, so you should definitely RSVP (just email [email protected]) to join me and other local style bloggers to shop, drink champagne, and indulge in some fashiontalk.

Dress for Success Fashion Show, September 18th, 11am-1:15pm
Speaking of Dress for Success and Saks, the annual Dress for Success Fashion Show and Luncheon is coming up on September 20th, this time at the roulette-and-milkshake heaven known as the Horseshoe Casino. You can buy your tickets here, and get ready for a pretty solid morning of food, fashion, and female empowerment.
