Tamia and the Sad Goodbye

At Second Sunday on Main

Tried to get out and enjoy myself a bit this weekend, despite the fact that I’ve been anxious about today for weeks.

Today, I have to take my boyfriend – aka FriendBoy, aka Ted – to the airport because he’s moving to Poland for three years. He’s been my homie, my photographer, my roller coaster-riding partner, my confidante, my blog’s biggest promoter, and my all-around BFF for almost 4 years now, so I’m extremely sad about it. My goal is to stay busy so I don’t get too depress-y, but I know some days will be better than others.

Taking pictures for the blog

I’ll miss you like crazy, babe! Good luck!

Awwwww, T! That is unbeliveably sweet and sad at the same time. I know you’re going to miss him, but think of all the great parkas you’ll wear when you visit him in Poland.

Awww! I’m so sorry to hear that. As someone in a LDR (though not quite the distance of Poland) I can totally relate. Best of luck to you!

Wow Tamia, you’ve talked about FriendBoy often. We will miss him too and wish him the best. The good news is you have all the technology ways to keep in contact. He will still make you happy when you get a little down at missing his presence.
