As Dope as Ms. Pope

The Limited x Scandal fashion
Last week, my friend Will invited me to a sneak preview of The Limited x Scandal collection, a collaborative effort between Scandal costume designer Lyn Paolo, Kerry Washington, and the Limited’s design team.

After checking everything out, let me just say that they got the Olivia Pope Look down pat: the tweedy blazers and wide-legged trousers, muted pastel color palette, and yes, white coats and jackets galore perfectly mimic Olivia’s powerful-yet-vulnerable swag. I put together a few of my favorite looks and may have gotten a liiiiitle carried away playing dress up…

The Limited x Scandal fashion I couldn’t resist hamming it up in this cape. The green bag WILL be mine!

The collection includes clothing, bags, and necklaces, with prices starting at a reasonable $49.95 for tops to up to $220 for coats. If you want a piece of Pope style sans all that extra “I had an affair with the President” drama, the Kenwood Towne Center store will carry every piece starting Tuesday September 23rd. When you go, ask for Will and tell him I sent you–no Secret Service necessary.
