Double Sweater…What does it mean?

So my new favorite thing to do is layer sweaters, which is why this sweater dress + sweater dress/cardigan (last seen here) combo pleased me so much.  It’s like a double shot of cozy on those annoyingly cold days!

I think the trick to not looking bulky is to define your waist (hence the belt) and wear relatively thin knits–though a loftier knit might work, too…I may need to experiment. Have you ever played around with double sweaters?

    Why yes. In fact, just last week, I wore a sweater dress/tunic thingy (I can’t decide if it’s a dress or a tunic, and I have worn it both ways) with an open cardigan, leggings and boots. I was WARM and I felt like I was wearing my PJs.

      @Kerry YES! In the winter my whole goal is too feel like I’m wearing pajamas at ALL TIMES.

    I have doubled up on the sweaters and prayed that I did not look as if I had gained 10 pounds over night. Thanks for the belt suggestion. Your tips have helped me out sooooo many times. Keep up the good work. You look great.

    Hmmm can’t say that I’ve tried wearing double sweaters BUT after seeing this look I sure enough might just start!! Love the color combination and ADORE the beret! The beret just happens to be mt “get out of hair jail free card” LOL… as always LOVE your posts

    Hahaha YESSSSSS!!!! The title of this post is amazing – that vid cracked me up. However, you look even MORE amazing in this ensemble. I wish I could say I played doubles too, but it’s far too warm where I’m livin’
