Crewline, is that you?

So, methinks Jenna Lyons and her crew (ha! J’s crew!) over at J. Crew were…inspired by Celine’s spring collection:

Everyone from Kanye to magazine editors to adorable doggies (squee!) loves Celine, so I understand why the ‘Crew took its cues from the color palette and iconic prints of that collection.

Of course, they mixed it in with J. Crew’s signature preppy hipster style to create a look that’s more…J-line? Celcrew? These squish names always confound me!

What say you? Do you see the similarities or is it all in my head?

This is what I call inspiration translated very well. I think Celine was in mind when J. Crew put this all together. It’s beautiful!

I agree, I like their interpretation and the spin they put on it!

    I think you’re right–good catch!
I love some J.Crew, but I’m not sure I’m brave enough to pull off those new patterns.

They are a little busy, but the blouses would definitely work under a neutral or subtly patterned blazer. I think you could Make It Work (TM)!
