Flower Power
Whenever I try to Tyra-stare it comes out like this. Oy.
Please note that I am fully aware that I’m too old to wear a poufy floral mini skirt, and that I know in my heart of hearts that this is NOT 1988 which means poufy floral anything is a no-go. Just let me have this one, mmkay?
Forever21 floral skirt (similar style here); Gap sweater (similar style); thrifted blazer; Colin Stuart boots (similar here).

April 12, 2012 at 10:13 amYou are not too old to wear it because you look fabulous. I’m 47 but stay quite fit and I ask myself this question all the time. I’ve decided as long as I have the legs, I’m wearing the clothes. We’ll all be living longer and with a little effort, enjoying better health, we do not have our grandmothers lives so why dress like they did?

April 12, 2012 at 8:25 pmWho said you’re too old? And who gave them the authority to decide. The only thing I’m not loving is the boots and socks and I wish the skirt was a littleeee longer). But that’s just my opinion;)

April 13, 2012 at 12:40 amI’ll forgive you because this skirt is adorable! Also, I had to ask forgiveness recently for wearing a full out sweater in April. : )

April 15, 2012 at 9:17 pmCute outfit! I know this is off topic, but would you mind doing a hair tutorial? I’ve seen this hair style in some of your pics and I’d love to see how it’s put together. Thank you!

April 24, 2012 at 11:14 pmYes, the 80’s are long gone.
I was never a big fan of the poufy skirts but I do love florals.
