Style // Check One, Check Two

It’s not an aversion per se, but I’m not usually one to wear plaid. Sure I have my schoolgirl/Vivienne Westwood wannabe moments, but I usually stick to neutral solids thankyouverymuch. That all went out the window when I saw these wide-legged trousers in an obnoxiously large check while cruising Zara.com. My new favorite silhouette, neutral cream and navy, PLUS a dramatic print? I know it’s still summer, but every year around this time I start missing my boots and sweaters like they’re old friends I haven’t seen in a while.
