Based on this post about changing style direction from leather and studs to softer and more feminine, I decided to pull a few items from the back of the closet to see if I could reappropriate all the gray and black into something a bit more douce.

Dress, Victoria’s Secret; sweater, H&M; tights, Forever21; socks, American Apparel; belt, vintage; earrings, The Little Mahatma
I see lots of grays and taupes in my future…What do you think?

Well, done! I’m dying for a soft, floaty dress right now. It’s the perfect piece to usher in spring.
Love the peach and grey together. This is much more beautiful than all the studs and leather.
I think that’s part of the reason I want change–I’m tired of snow and cold! I want warmth and floaty dresses!
Thanks, Fajr! It suits my mood right now…
YESSSSSS. This color combination looks great on you. Not to mention the fact that your hair is amazing.
Thanks Mallory!
Tamia I love the look. It so ushers in my thoughts of spring! I am in GA where it is normally a little warmer, but with all the snow and cold that pushes down to us, its been a colder winter:( I love the soft colors, the mix of textures and the innocent poses, lol!
I love your blog. You’ve inspired to me “try” some new things instead of the plain black/gray combos that I’ve worn for ages. I am interested in thrifting, but don’t know where to start or what to look for, lol. Love the mag too. I’ve found some great blogs, even someone here in Atlanta!
Oh and definitely LUV the hair! So on point!
love how soft this is, you look gorgeous and dreamy.
darling could you let me know the best email address to contact you on hun bun?
thanks!
Glam kisses,
Marian.
Thanks!
Black and gray are hard to get away from! They’re usually just so…easy. I think it helps to mix in the new with the old a little bit at a time. Notice I’m still wearing a gray sweater and socks here! That’s not by accident
