The Choice is Clear

There comes a time in every woman’s life when she has to make a difficult choice. A choice that may be controversial, a choice that not everyone will agree with or understand–but as Cher Horowitz once said, it’s a personal choice every woman has got to make for herself:

The choice to wear clear heels.

Vintage lucite heels from Atomic Number 10

Now see, I know what you’re thinking. But hear me out: they’re VINTAGE clear heels, not stripper clear heels. The simple mule styling and relatively low stiletto heel keep them from being too vampy, and really, how can you say no to shoes that make you look like you’re walking on air?

I choose my choice! My old Crystal Barbie would be proud.

I think they work, precisely for the reasons you say. And there’s no crystals or anything else, so they’re not really cheesy.

I’ve always been afraid to try clear heels like this, mostly because I’m scared the plastic will rub and hurt, or that it will cloud if my feet get sweaty (and that’s not attractive at all). Those look like they fit you nice though.

Not my style choice, but fashion is all about you doing you.

I like them as well. 🙂 I think they are feminine and elegant a la parisienne. What outfit did you wear with them?

I had a crystal barbie! Lol as for clear heels, I haven’t tried them yet, I’m still besotted with metal heel, and I’m not sure the clear heel will ever measure up for me! I have to agree that the strap at the front looks as though it could be uncomfortable, especially in hot weather!
