Fall Wish List!

It’s that time! Time to fantasize about things I’d like to buy while it’s still early enough in the season that there’s a semi-realistic possibility I’ll actually obtain these items! On my Wishing List for this Fall:

1. New glasses

I have nude wire frames and tortoiseshell plastic frames, but I need black or gray. Because sometimes I just don’t feel like putting in my contacts.

2. Cozy sweater

I’m pretty much always cold from from mid-October through the end of March, so sweaters are a must. COLD BLOODED!

3. Patterned trousers

I’m a pants girl, but I’m also trying to add more prints to my wardrobe. Two birds.

4. Tough-glam earrings

Something spiky and sparkly = best of both worlds.

5. Lug sole booties

I’ve convinced myself that boots with a lug sole will be “comfortable” and “easier to walk in.” Just let me have this one, ok?

6. Shimmery nail polish

Subtle shimmer in a neutral-ish color looks pretty and feminine, but doesn’t look too tacky when it chips and I’m too lazy to take it off.

7. Cropped bustier

It seems counterintuitive to wear so little when the weather gets cool, but a bustier is a great layering piece under blazers and slouchy sweaters. Nothin’ wrong with a little sex-ay no matter what the season!

8. Faux fur scarf

Even my favorite ratty sweats look sophisticated when I’m draped in lush faux fur.

9. Leather pants

I think I’m ready to take the leap and invest in a pair of leather pants. I’m looking for a pair that are a cross between rock god/motorcycle gang/trust fundie-turned-deejay.

10. Leopard print flats

I’m on my 3rd pair of leopard print flats–I wear them to death, so I always seem to be replacing them!

11. Graphic tee

My ideal everyday outfit includes a t-shirt & skinnies, so I’m stocking up on graphic tees.

12. Neutral lipstick

I’m still on my ‘90s makeup kick, so Revlon’s Toast of New York seems like the perfect shade of nothing.

13. Patterned pencil skirt

Preferably a print that looks like a rorschach test, or one of those paintings at the mall that looks like something else if you stare at it.
