How to Publish a Magazine in Four Weeks
We knew it was coming; it was just so sudden. Our team got to work, scheduling photo shoots, assigning deadlines, laying out pages, and scouring the city for the best in fashion and decor. I spent so much time on the road I thought about installing a toaster oven in my car!
It was exhausting, but fun: there’s always some mischief going on behind the scenes at photo shoots, and the editorial meetings no one initially has time for end up as gab fests about the newest/craziest/latest happenings.
Clockwise from top: Model Kristina getting her hurr did; I’m always super casual on set because I’m usually doing stuff like this; making these Prada sunglasses “float” required fishing wire and lots of patience; checking out digital images during the fashion shoot.
Props to the editors, art department, freelancers, photographers, models, sales team, and everyone else who had a hand in putting together this fabulous book! Since it only went out to select subscribers and isn’t available on newsstands, I’m hosting a happy hour at Article in OTR from 5-8 on Thursday 10/9 to give away copies so you can enjoy the fruits of our labor. Stop by to pick up a free magazine, enjoy a frew brews, and say hello. See you there!
