Work // Model Brides + Hot Docs
Double duty this time: The January issue of Cincinnati Magazine and the Winter issue of Cincinnati Wedding are currently on newsstands! This was my first “full” issue of Cincinnati Wedding, and though it only comes out three times a year, the creation process gets squeezed in between producing content for the monthly magazine so there’s a fair amount of overlap when scouting, scheduling shoots, etc. Basically, ish gets hectic.
- We photographed several Cincinnati Ballet dancers for the “Dress Rehearsal” feature, including principal Sarah Hairston. She LOVED wearing the dresses and it’s a good thing–her fiance proposed (on stage, no less) a few weeks after the shoot!
- The colored veils created by Hark & Hark for the “Color Me Pretty” shoot are what inspired me to make something similar for that Halloween masquerade.
- The doctor on the cover of the Top Docs issue is a neuro-intensivist (let’s just pretend we know what that means, mmkay?) and ER physician in addition to looking like George Clooney. So unfair.
Be sure to pick up a copy or two!
