Memorial Day weekend usually marks the unofficial start of summer, and as such, is usually when I start pulling out my warm weather wardrobe. This year is a little dicey because I'm so busy doing other stuff--working on the 2nd issue of Style Sample Magazine, preparing for a business trip, gorging myself on fried foods at Taste of Cincinnati--but I figured I'd at least take inventory of what I have.
Except
Headed to the Red Lobster (you must always preface the name of establishments like Red Lobster, Sizzler, etc. with "the") for dinner. Mmmm

I remember buying this top on a thrifting adventure a few years ago, but I don't remember why. Most likely, I figured I couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy what was basically a tee shirt made out of gold sequins. Really, what self-respecting thrift-loving fashionista could?
Only, I haven't really worn it. A crazy halloween costume doesn't count (I was Rick James, bitch). Neither does dress up around the house, which happens just as often

I have always been a fan of one-pieces. Maybe it's a sign of immaturity, maybe I watched too many Three's Company reruns as a child, but jumpsuits and rompers have always figured prominently into my wardrobe.
Apparently, I'm not the only one inspired by Chrissy Snow and the cast of Roller Boogie--stores are currently overflowing with one-piece shorties and hipsters everywhere are touting them as the must-have item for summer. Being the generous person that I
