A few months ago, Dayton-based photographer Tiernae Salley contacted me about doing some lifestyle photography to build her portfolio. I’m not a model by any means, but I’m always happy to help out fellow creatives (and self-photography is so time consuming), so we made plans for an hour-long session at New Riff Distillery.

Lately, I’ve been:
Trying on insanely expensive Choo booties I can’t afford;
Hanging out with the girls and practicing the Top Model Booty Tooch;
Threatening to cut people Dexter-style (yes, AGAIN);
Connecting my Earth Spirit to the Mother Sky or whatever at yoga;
Stepping up my lipstick game for Fall;
And trying (then quitting after two days) the 80-10-10 diet in an attempt to get my energy levels back to normal. I tried y’all, I really sort of did. Mostly. Kind

Camera bags exist to serve a very specific function: to safely and securely hold camera equipment.
