More work finally coming to fruition! In "Pale as a Ghost Sign", I once again dug into local history to learn about the stories behind the fading painted signs found on brick walls scattered around downtown and OTR. Sifting through old city directories and chatting with sign experts and enthusiasts was a hella fun exercise in research nerdery, and I invite you to check it out (on the cover!) in the April 3rd issue of

This street style photo caught my eye--I love the Laura Ingalls-meets-dominatrix mashup of sweet maxi dress + sky-high stripper heels. I noticed quite a few romantic-ish maxi dresses on the Fall 2013 runways as well:

You could easily come up with your own interpretation of this look for Spring--because really, who wants to wait ‘til Fall? I found a sweet floral frock and red tank dress
So last night the Lite Hearted Donut pop-up shop on Vine Street hosted Style Me Sweet in conjunction with Sloane Boutique in honor of their 140-calorie no-guilt donut. Honestly, I did feel some guilt due to the fact that the donut was just one of a series of pastries I consumed, but the fashion more than made up for it! I am SO ready for Spring.
