It seems antiquated in the age of the FaceChats and InstaTweets, but e-newsletters are experiencing a surprising resurgence. Much like the rebirth of podcasts, a new wave of emailed infotainment has come to take over our inboxes. While the format hasn’t changed significantly since the days of OGs like DailyCandy (RIP), a well executed newsletter provides welcome relief from the usual bill notifications and cash-strapped Nigerian princes. Whew, things have been busy! I know, I know--everyone is busy, but in addition to work and life stuff, I’ve also been doing interviews and editing and working on everything else that comes along with starting a podcast. The actual recording is pretty straightforward, but as always, there’s more to the creative process than meets the eye. Here’s my experience so far:
Podcast Intro

I've never considered myself much of a talker--I already know what I think, so I'm much more interested in what other people have to say--but my job as a Stylist means I'm regularly talking to creative types about their businesses, their projects, and their motivation. Which is fascinating.
I get to have amazing conversations with entrepreneurs, designers, publicists, retailers, makers, and more, and I love to share their stories. The problem is, I'm a terrible storyteller. Like, horrible.
