I bought this vintage matador skirt from NVISION after seeing it at a fashion show and immediately falling in Fashion Love. You know that love-at-first-sight feeling you get when you see a dress/skirt/top that seems like it was made with you in mind? Yeah, it was like that.

I recently re-watched Paris is Burning for the first time in at least 10 years (it still holds up, in case you were wondering) and figured it was time to bring a little Executive Realness to my life.
Hugo Buscati blazer; thrifted oxford shirt; J. Crew pants; NOMAD3176 necklace; Giuseppe Zanotti heels
If you’ve never seen Paris, I encourage you to watch it (for free!) here. Like I said, it holds up and is just as exuberant/haunting/relevant
Something about leather--even when it's in the form of a Smurf-blue pencil skirt--always feels rock star-ish to me. I decided to keep it casual with a customized tee, and added a pair of strappy heels for a ladylike touch.
Mr. Funky customized tee; vintage skirt and heels; UO earrings; Wilson's bag

Okay, so now that it’s Officially Fall and I’m semi-officially Not Sick and Not Working Like a Crazy Person 24/7, I can share my Fall wish list! Yay! Just a few things I’d like to add to my current wardrobe situation as a seasonal update:
1. Faux fur gilet, Miss Selfridge I get so much wear out of my Monchichi fur vest that I figured another one would come in handy
2. French Hen sweater, J.
Remember that blue leather skirt?
Vintage skirt and bag; Gap shirt; Steven heels; DIY scarf necklace
I can never resist wearing my new stuff right away--even when it's not really new.
Speaking of vintage, I'll be part of NVISION's fashion show at the Symphonic Stylings fundraising event at The Electric Warehouse this Saturday! Do not even get me started on some of the beautiful vintage dresses I tried on during my fitting--you don't want to miss this show!
