So I know I just took another unexpected hiatus, but it was for good reason, I promise: I finally took a break from errythang and went on a trip to Miami and Key West! I hung out on South Beach, did some shopping, relaxed on the beach, enjoyed yummy banana daiquiris by the pool, took a leisurely bike ride around the island, explored botanical gardens, and ate everything in sight--in short, it was an awesome

This street style photo caught my eye--I love the Laura Ingalls-meets-dominatrix mashup of sweet maxi dress + sky-high stripper heels. I noticed quite a few romantic-ish maxi dresses on the Fall 2013 runways as well:
