Quite a few dubloons

It's quite sad that a good 80% of my appreciation for art, film, and culture in general always comes back to "Yeah, but what are they wearing?" The Internet serves us in many ways: it's home to a wealth of information (just Google it), it's a way to connect with people around the world (social networks!), and it's a repository for ignorance (YouTube commenters). Tumblr Tuesday: Ubes and Afros

Pastries made with ube, a yummy, sweet purple yam I came to appreciate during my trip to the Philippines; a wolf that could only exist in a dream; the view from some lucky heffa's person's Paris apartment; a shimmering watercolor 'fro, loving the type treatment in this magazine layout; oversized rings made out of purple rocks are right up my alley.

Fashion Week Faves (NY)

The fun thing about Fall Fashion Week is that it takes place when the weather is still cool enough to wear--or at least be inspired to wear--clothes that are currently in season.
