Tips and Advice
Blame the impending doom of the polar vortex (why God, WHYYYY?), but lately I’ve been in the mood to get pretty. The idea of glowing skin and glossy hair might be an attempt to bring some light to the the cold dark nights to come, but a bit of beautification ain’t never hurt nobody. Ever since the weather cooled off and the days got shorter, I’ve been looking forward to getting down to serious (fashion) business. While summer is all about being floaty and carefree, cooler weather means disciplined layering, and this Fall I’m all about structured minimalism and sharp contrast. We knew it was coming; it was just so sudden. Looming on the editorial calendar, between the Fall issue of Cincinnati Wedding and the October monthly and lord only knows how many custom projects, was Cincinnati SHOPS, the magazine’s first publication dedicated to fashion and shopping from the perspective of young creatives truly living the Queen City lifestyle.
