Tumblr Tuesday: Donut Seeds and Lego Hitmen

If only it were this easy to grow my own donut tree; Curling up in a fluffy bed in front of a fire is my personal idea of heaven right now; I feel like these heels-that-don't-match-a-darn-thing-I-own could be the missing link in my wardrobe; My Lego people never played Pulp Fiction, but MAYBE THEY SHOULD HAVE; I do love a good paisley ascot; Photos of the Champs Elysees always inspire me to sing this little

Tumblr Tuesday: Big Pillows and Bear Art

This installation (and you have to watch the accompanying video to really see what it is) reminds me how much fun art can be; Nothing makes me happier than a good sky-blazing sunset; Scones with pomegranate clotted cream make a healthy breakfast, right? RIGHT?; I have SO much love for 70s-inspired faux fur and polyester that I wonder if I was born in the wrong decade; Some of my favorite childhood memories involve laying on

Color blocking is still a thing, though it's been one-upped by pattern blocking--combining multiple prints and patterns--and it looks like pops of bright color (including Spring's tangerine shades) and quirky ironic sweaters will be around for another season or two. Some of my faves from the NYC runways: Definitely enjoyed the Narciso-meets-Balenciaga

Blue Star

Every year when the temperature dips below 50, I look forward to wearing these pants. I'm not sure why--something about the combination of high-waisted seventies goodness and plush blue velvet intrigues me. Vintage trousers and shoes; Polo boy's oxford; VS tee; thrifted scarf Is it just me or does the front of my hair bear a strange resemblance to the Chrysler Building here?
